Global Market Manager

Position Summary
The Global Market Manager, Energy Materials, is responsible for collecting, analyzing and synthesizing industry, market and competitive information for the Energy Materials team. The Energy Materials business is focused on the carbon, silica and alumina materials used in batteries, supercapacitor and fuel cells. This role will coordinate closely with our regional sales and marketing teams on key account plans and alignment for positioning of commercial products. This role will also be responsible for managing our external marketing literature.
Job Responsibilities
Collect through primary and secondary sources all information of competitive materials and company information. Develop and update market share maps. Identify trends from competitive materials.
Collect and generate information on market and industry trends for energy storage in IT, automotive and grid storage.
Collect customer insights on emerging trends that impact materials needs for energy storage.
Research, analyze, and report industry trends and data from multiple sources that impact the business' volume, margins, utilization, and market share.
Through analysis identify opportunities for future growth that can feed into the front end pipeline both organic and inorganic. Support stagegate deliverables.
Help develop value propositions and manage pricing strategy and supports commercial negotiations.
Provide support to business by compiling presentation materials, drafting communications and tracking key accounts.
Interface broadly within the regional sales, tech service and marketing teams to advance objectives and strategies for the Energy Materials business.
Develop market introduction plans for new products.
Manage our marketing and promotional literature for our commercial products
Bachelor/University degree in Engineering or related Science required
Marketing experience preferred
5+ years of relevant experience
Relevant experience in energy storage industry and a familiarity with the space
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Willingness to travel globally - 20-25%
Strong team player with positive attitude
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
Multilingual preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
