Sr. Procurement Business Analyst

PAREXEL has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Procurement Business Analyst to join our IT software category team. Reporting to a Senior Manager, the Senior Procurement Business Analyst develops strong business relationships with customers (internal and external) in order to understand and analyze requirements. S/he provides professional advice and ongoing support to meet their business requirements. S/he will provide specialized procurement knowledge and detailed strategic analysis. S/he should have the ability to initiate and develop procurement/business related ideas, determine the optimum course of action for success, particularly in respect to collaborating and seeking agreement with all interested parties. The Senior Procurement Business Analyst will provide data administration and analysis support for the IT software procurement team.
Key Accountabilities:
Design the development of meaningful Procurement metrics. Gather and analyze pertinent data including, but not limited to: current spend, purchase practices, supply market information, customer requirements, benchmark information, supplier performance data
Provide intelligent analysis of data; identify trends and anomalies, draw conclusions and make recommendations on course of action
Drive the creation of Return on Investment (ROI) and Total Cost of Ownership (TOC) analysis models and tools
Provides the user community with support, as a subject matter expert in procurement processes and systems
Supports system setup activities, including local and punch-out catalog creation and maintenanceQualificationsSuccessful candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 2
    years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, strategic sourcing/procurement analysis, supplier performance management.

  • Ability to work on a range of procurement problems and provide high quality and/or innovative solutions

  • Strong statistics, data modeling/analysis skills

  • Proven effective cross-functional business team experience required

  • Strong process and project management skills

  • Significant experience in data analysis tools like Excel, Access or equivalent applications.

  • Must be highly detail oriented and capable of processing large amount of information error free

  • Familiarity with finance, accounting, marketing / sales and clinical studies a plus

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of management

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
