Senior Counsel, Legal & Risk Management

This is a senior-level legal counsel position which is primarily responsible and accountable for the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts with certain clients and business partners. In addition to the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, this position will provide legal advice and counsel to the Companys strategic business units (SBUs) and functional units. The ideal candidate will have deep contracting expertise, substantial experience supporting global clinical trials, outstanding legal and business acumen, excellent leadership and customer service skills, and a positive can-do attitude. He or she will manage risks through counseling and the implementation and practical application of Company policies, processes and procedures. The ability to understand risks, balance competing interests, and provide appropriate advice is critical to success for this position. He or she will participate in and contribute to the development and on-going review of relevant processes, guidelines and procedures, including those relating to the Companys commercial contracting practices. The work requires cross-functional and SBU collaboration within the Company.
This is a client-facing position. It is expected that the Senior Counsel, Legal & Risk Management will establish productive relationships with our internal and external clients and business partners and foster a client-focused approach with respect to the performance of all Legal & Risk Management responsibilities.QualificationsStrong professional experience as an attorney, including a minimum of 6
years in-house experience negotiating commercial contracts for a global corporation and 6

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
