Director, Capital Projects & Engineering

Global Pharmaceutical company looking to bring onboard an Executive Capital Projects - Engineering Director to their growing sites! This role will direct all engineering, validation and capital expansion projects for the site. This highly visible role will report into the VP, General Manager of the entire site as well as work closely with Sr. Engineering Director overseas. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
Direct multifunctional teams to achieve ongoing projects within established timelines and budgets
Direct the development and implementation of process equipment, utilities, systems, and facilities improvements in conjunction with validation program and capital improvement projects
Direct and coordinate major capital investment projects
Direct the development of specifications and purchase of all capital equipment related to capital improvement projects
Manage external compliance and engineering firms to insure appropriate compliance requirements for equipment, utility, facility improvements/upgrades are met
Ensure generation and maintenance of accurate compliance control documentation
Requirements
B.S. in Engineering or Project Management AND 10
years in pharmaceutical operations, with 5-6 years management experience
Strong team leadership skills
Strong computer skills including engineering tools and applications
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload
Strong knowledge of FDA, cGMP, ICH and engineering design standards Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
