The Foreman will provide on-site supervision of all construction related activities including, erection and repair of towers and co-location system placement. This position will complete construction projects by scheduling materials, equipment, and personnel, monitoring projects, enforcing code and safety regulations, supervising technicians and sub-contractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise and assist in the installation of all aspects of wireless cell site foundations, grounding and conduits, with electrical installations where applicable
Identify and select cables, ropes, blocks, and tackle by weight and size of load to be moved
Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld
Instruct and follow of all OSHA and Company Fall Safety procedures
Lead work on tower top, looking after all aspects of work while at the tower top, ensuring that a quality installation has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load-hopping etc.
Maintain material inventory on crew truck and warehouse
Perform tower modifications, inspections, inventories and audits
Review all documentation to prepare for installation, assemble the necessary materials, determine required installation methods, tools and equipment and direct crew subordinates
Collect and review all on-site closeout documentation and submit to the project manager per the deliverable timelines
Coordinate with the customer and/or site owner representative for site related activities and maintain a good working relationship with each
The ability to give direction to Crane Operators engaged in hoisting and moving loads, to ensure the safety of others and material handled
Train junior staff members
Attend regular safety meetings

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position will be responsible for leading a crew in the erection and repair of wireless towers and co-location system placement

Qualifications

5 years of tower climbing experience, at least 2 years managing a crew
Previous experience as a foreman on tower and antennae systems related scopes
Specific experience with microwave systems and/or wireless carrier builds
Certified in all connector applications and be able to demonstrate
Must have an understanding of the installation and testing of the latest technologies (LTE, CDMA, UMTS)
Must be able to climb and perform work at various heights, up to 400 feet, for long periods of time
Ability to read site plans and build accordingly
Must display good judgment, ambition, good work ethic, positive attitude, reliability and a team mentality
Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Organized with a strong attention to detail and capable of working with minimum supervision
Ability to work weekends, nights and in extreme weather conditions if necessary
Ability to frequently stoop, stand, sit and climb
Valid driver's license
Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, MVR and background check)

Certifications
Must have or obtain OSHA Construction 10 hour Safety Training Card; 30 hour OSHA course a plus
Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR certification

EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
