As their business evolves, they are making significant investments in their digital initiatives, specifically e-commerce (e-business, e-procurement). They have engaged us on a search for a head of their e-business program. This is an executive-level, global role with significant management and leadership responsibilities. It is highly visible post that is a strategic imperative from the executive-suite.
This is a full-time role based North of Boston. This is a national search and the client will provide a full and comprehensive relocation package.
At a high level, this person will design, develop, and implement an e-business strategy, vision and roadmap. We are looking for someone who
Collaborates and has a track record of working at a large, global, complex company with colleagues in IT, marketing, product, finance and other key groups
Works in a B2B environment
Develops e-commerce strategies for companies that sell a high number of products - 50K-plus
Manages teams of direct and indirect reports
Oversees paid search, SEO, UX, e-commerce, analytics, content management and other related areas
Exudes confidence and possesses executive-level presence and polish
Stays on the forefront of the latest innovations in e-procurement, e-business and e-commerce
Is a project management guru
Has P&L responsibility
Manages external vendors and agencies

years of leadership experience in an e-Business position
B2B lifesciences industry ideal; also excited about candidates who have worked in retail companies or other industries where they sell a high volume of products
Track record of engaging key stakeholders (internal, external, customers) during times of change
Stellar presentation skills
Diplomatic and able to successfully work with people across cultures
Able to travel - domestically and globally - up to 25%
Able to work in the metro Boston area
MBAEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
