The Technical Writer is responsible for creating and editing Manufacturing documentation and supporting the team to generate new product release content DUTIES:
1.
Collaborate with subject matter experts.
2.
Convert complex documents to easy language for multiple audiences 3.
Partner with Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering to transfer products to manufacturing and create written content 4.
Capable of communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner 5.
Release all generated content through our ECO/ECR process 6.
Responsible for all manufacturing documentation i.
e.
, SOP's, production records, checklists, forms, process maps, etc 7.
Convert assembly drawings to standard operating procedures 8.
Capable of working with team to generate process maps and then convert to SOP 9.
Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as needed.

Demonstrate ability to write original material REQUIREMENTS:
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Education:
1.

years of experience working as a Technical Writer, or Bachelor Degree in English/Communications or a technical discipline, a Technical Writing Certificate, or demonstrated excellence in technical writing and communication.

years experience with Solid Works and Vault 3.
Experience with electrical schematics and PI&D diagrams 4.
Superb written and communication skills with an eye for detail 5.
Experience with ISO 9001, ECR/ECO process, and general documentation control 6.
Knowledgeable with Electrical and Mechanical drawings and technical writing about Electro-Mechanical equipment 7.

years of professional technical writing experience.

Strong computer publishing skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
Experience developing documents using Adobe Framemaker, Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Experience with graphics software to develop or convert graphics for use in documentation.

Strong writing, editing and communication skills.

Flexibility in a fast paced and team oriented environment 11.
Experience with working with limited direct supervision.

Strong interpersonal skills 13.
Excellent Organizational Skills 14.
Ability to map a process and convert it to a standard operating procedure 15.
