Senior Program Manager

Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Product Development, this position is responsible for the successful planning, management and execution of electro, mechanical, software, capital equipment oriented large scale product development projects in Integra's Codman Specialty Surgical Division in accordance with corporate objectives and the Integra Product Development procedures. An essential function of this role is making in-person onsite regular visits to hospitals, medical facilities, and other customer locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, manage and execute product development projects in accordance with Integra's Product Development process and procedures. Serve as the development global project team leader motivating and driving cross-functional team performance toward achieving the common goal of completing the development project according to the defined objectives, on time and within budget. Manage virtual teams located at multiple sites. Manage project and product cost against budget; reports and advises on recovery plans necessary to achieve budget targets Employ excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with all levels of personnel and management to facilitate open communication among project team members. Coordinate communications among global cross-functional team members, ensuring unified objectives and coordination of efforts Closely track personnel resource utilization and availability for each functional department. Plan appropriately to avoid resource bottlenecks. Guide project team members in the preparation of Design Control documentation as well as generate any project documentation assigned to Program Management. Guide project team members in the implementation and execution of the principles of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) throughout the product development process. Develop, update and maintain detailed project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project. Effective lead and facilitate development global project team meetings, including preparation of meeting minutes and documentation of key conclusions and action items. Prepare and effectively present project update presentations (PD Reviews and PD Gate Reviews) to Sr. Management. Effectively implement problem solving skills and techniques to identify potential issues, assess their impact, and develop and implement mitigation and resolution plans and activities. Provide periodic training for Integra staff on Integra's Product Development procedures. Continue pursuit of project management excellence and engineering knowledge through seminars and other professional courses. Assist Marketing and Product Development in preparing project proposals, which may include business assessments, project costs, resource requirements, detailed project timelines and quality objectives. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. Bachelor's degree in an engineering related discipline from an accredited university or college; desired MBA, Master Degree in Technical Discipline or Engineering Management, and/or PMP Certification. A minimum of 5 years of product development experience with an additional 3
years of Project Management experience managing a large scope capital equipment projects in a highly regulated product development environment, operating within Design Control procedures, preferably from within the medical device industry managing global cross functional teams for new product development. Demonstrated aptitude for successfully managing multiple projects, of varying complexity, within the specified guidelines, timeframes and budgets. Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability achieve top performance from project teams
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
